Five km every day (and beyond): Important advice no runner can afford to ignore

It's not "ran". You don't say "I have ran the London marathon", it's "I have run the London marathon".

In a nutshell I'm a novice runner in my 40s. I was one of those people who said "nope, can't do running, it's not for me" but tried it anyway.

Then in October 2016 I decided to run at least 5km every day for charity and to blog about it.

Why? Because those Sober for October "challenges" are lame.

Having nailed that I decided to make 2017 the year of my first official half-marathon, marathon, and ultramarathon races.

I'm still not fast but why let that stop me? 2018 I'm attempting a double marathon.

Figured I might keep the blog going, see where it takes me.
